In another study done by AdGooroo entitled, Yahoo! Bing PPC Performance Metrics analyzed where advertiser participation and performance metrics on the Yahoo! Bing network through Bing Ads compared to Google AdWords.
The study looked at U.S. advertisers in 6 verticals during Q312.
No surprise that AdWords out-delivered Bing Ads by serving 7.3 million more ad impressions in the Shopping and Classified category.
What was surprising is that Bing Ads come out ahead in the Financial Services category with an edge of over a million ad impressions.
The study points out that the popularity of the financial reporting section of the Yahoo! and MSN/Bing search engine portals.
Google AdWords did not have a significant lead in impressions serving in the other 4 verticals ofTravel (5.79%-3.43%), Education (2.23%-1.93%), Business (3.57%-3.32%) and Computer/Internet(8.68%-3.32%) Ad Impressions, Q3 2012 (millions).
